Nicholas Blood

Nick joined Active Spine & Joint in August of 2022 to initiate the new Occupational Therapy program. He graduated from Pace University in 2021 with a master’s in Occupational Therapy & Magna Cum Laude honors; also serving as the programs founding President.

Nick received his undergraduate degree at Springfield College in 2018 with a bachelor’s in Exercise Science & minor in Psychology.

From a young age, he aimed to obtain a degree that provided the knowledge and tools for him to help and educate others so they may reach their goals and participate in the meaningful activities they once did or wished to do. He has experience working in multiple settings & with patients through the entire age spectrum from pediatrics to geriatrics. His prior experiences include orthopedics, acute care, school therapy, and sports training with diagnoses including Spinal cord injury, CP, MS, Stroke, Traumatic brain injury, Sports injury, & Age-related injuries. Nick strives to continue learning about the most up-to-date treatment methods and modalities to provide the most effective services to his clients allowing them to participate in all the meaningful activities they once did or wish to perform.  

Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and a multitude of pets while going to the beach, trying new foods, lifting weights, and working on cars.
